  5. For option 2, select the data plan you intend to gift to the recipient, and enter their phone number. Ensure that you have sufficient airtime to cover the data gifting transaction.

How To Generate Code For Airtel Data Sharing

To ensure secure data transfer and prevent unauthorized access to your SIM, Airtel provides a sharing code feature. You can generate a new sharing code by dialing *312#. It is advisable to change the default code (1234) to a code of your preference and keep it confidential. When accessing the data-sharing page, you can also modify the default code to a new one for added security.
